Global Planner
Location: Minnetonka

Position Description
Located in Minnetonka MN, Aden & Anais seeks an experienced Global Planner to assure we consistently service our customers while also optimizing assortment planning across all regions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties will be assigned.
Planning / Analysis
• Perform analysis to drive initiatives and achieve company financial goals.
• Complete weekly sales reporting for executive team, as well as ad hoc reporting as requested.
• Lead the development of annual budgets at category level to support company financial targets, including Cost of Goods Sold, Receipts, Base Inventory Levels, and Future Transitions.
• Execute analysis and review of upcoming forecasts and seasonal activity based on sales, inventory, and in stock expectations.
• Actively support the category business plan with data and analysis, providing recommendations and insights as necessary.

Order Management
• Create SKU-level demand and inventory forecasts which determine semi-monthly purchase orders.
• Partner with International Regions and US Inventory Manager to combine global orders to maximize operating efficiencies.
• Analyze and review non-productive inventory; create and monitor appropriate action plans.
• Adhere to Open to Buy (OTB) spend while achieving planned turnover and revenue growth.
• Identify root cause and correct “out of stock” and back order situations.

Communication /Relationships
• Develop relationships with business team including logistics, sales, marketing, merchandising, product development, customer service, and accounting.
• Prepare information and serve in a lead role on inventory team meetings.
• Maintain collaborative partnerships with customers, distribution centers, and transportation teams to ensure the rapid and efficient movement of goods through the supply chain.

Process Improvement
• Drive change in company best methods and be a resource for inventory system / process enhancements.

• Knowledgeable of the replenishment and overall supply chain business processes.
• Financial acumen to forecast financial requirements and inventory impacts.
• Able to collaborate cross functionally to gather necessary information for the development of accurate forecasts.
• Advanced PC skills and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, systems aptitude, and experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a high level of energy and initiative.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management.

Bachelor Degree and 5 to 7 years experience inventory management, in a robust multi-SKU, multi-customer setting. Background with large, national accounts such as Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us / Babies R Us, Amazon and BBB is helpful. Strong systems and Excel skills necessary.
